Here is the next *chunky art* or *fat little* book topic.
if I were a *rich man*. Inspiration : *best song* from the musical Fiddler on the Roof, which I would have liked to have seen at the theatre earlier this year, but instead rely on memories of a theatre trip when I was a teenager and a recorded version sung by Rolf Harris
in my parents’ record collection.
If you wish to participate in the art topic … please make two art-pages *four-and-a-half inches by four inches* in dimension, inspired by the topic if I were a *rich man*.
- The artwork base must be either cardstock or heavy paper, at least 140g weight. No artwork on the *extra* half-inch … that half-inch is so that people can choose how they want to bind the artwork while avoiding damage to the original artwork. The base must be strong enough that holes made to bind the works together will not tear.
- Please decorate both sides of each of the two art-pages at the very least do not leave the *back* raw and white because both sides of each art-page will be displayed in the *book* … and include your name and the date of your art.
- Please use the contact form below to indicate your interest and request my postal address
so you can send your art pages to me by 27 July. You will need to include either a self-addressed and stamped envelope for the return of SWAPPED art-work, or include adequate (return) postage with packaging which can be re-used. - On 27 July all artwork that I have received will be collated and re-sorted among the participants. Everyone who has sent two pieces of artwork and return post-and-packaging will be sent two *new* pieces of artwork for their own Fat Little Art Book.
There will be a new topic – and a new invitation to participate – each month.
